The owner himself has traveled the world, primarily in the United States and Europe, purchasing folk crafts and vintage military clothing from various countries. He visited each country and studied the historical background of each country to understand why certain clothing and designs were made, and spent a year experiencing them firsthand. He believes he can convey the appeal of each product while providing a solid foundation and reasoning behind the products. The store's extensive selection includes classic college items like Champion Reverse Weave, US military items like jungle fatigue jackets and M65s, vintage Indian jewelry purchased in the American Southwest, and fabrics and accessories sourced from Eastern European flea markets with a strong Russian flair.
There are many second-hand clothing stores, select shops, and antique stores in the Kamakura/Shonan area, but we have received many happy comments from repeat customers, such as finding the vintage clothing they've been looking for at a good price, and have also received high praise through word of mouth. We have a selection of brands that are only available in Kanagawa Prefecture. Among them is the newly launched EMON, a notable brand that continues to broadcast from Himeji, focusing on products made in Japan.
This is also the only HERILL store in Kanagawa Prefecture. In addition to the classic tucked jeans, shirts, and denim jackets, we also have a wide selection of knitwear made from Golden Cashmere, which is HERILL's signature product, for the fall/winter season.
