British Royal Navy PCS combat pants, deadstock now in stock.
These are unused, deadstock PCS combat pants from the British Royal Navy, manufactured in the 2000s. ARZACH KAMAKURA has received a shipment. We present to you the refined elegance and functional beauty unique to the British military, distinct from American military pants.

The good points of these pants
Military pants are often grouped together, but when you actually pick them up and compare them, you can clearly see the differences in national characteristics. There are three reasons why ARZACH felt that these British Navy PCS pants were "good."

A refined quality that the American military lacks.
Even though they are both military pants, the difference is immediately apparent when you compare them side-by-side with those from the US military. The waist has pleats and a gentle taper towards the hem. While they are practical, the silhouette itself is beautifully refined. This is a tailoring technique unique to the British military.

Parachute button strength
All the buttons on the placket and pockets are high-strength parachute buttons, the same type used in parachute equipment. Despite being made of plastic, they are sturdy and designed to withstand years of use. Every detail conveys a commitment to practical, combat-ready specifications.

The design of the slant pocket
The slant pockets are positioned diagonally on both sides of the thighs. While their design originated for functionality, they also excel as a design element. They add just the right amount of eye-catching accent to an otherwise unremarkable pair of pants.

What is PCS (Personal Clothing System)?
PCS (Personal Clothing System) is the name of the clothing system adopted by the British military. It was introduced in stages starting in 2009, replacing the older generation clothing system "CS95 (Combat Soldier 95)," which had been in use for nearly 40 years and was centered on DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) camouflage.
The development of this system is based on combat experience in Afghanistan. In missions that traverse diverse environments such as forests, deserts, and urban areas, conventional region-specific camouflage (temperate DPM and desert DPM) proved insufficient in many situations. Therefore, the "MTP (Multi-Terrain Pattern)" camouflage, which is compatible with multiple terrains, and the new clothing system (PCS) designed to match it were developed.
However, these pants are plain navy blue. This indicates that they are not for field use by the Army, but rather a model adopted for the Navy (ROYAL NAVY) primarily for onboard service.

DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) camouflage was introduced to the entire British Army and was used as standard combat uniform for approximately 40 years thereafter.

1995
The CS95 (Combat Soldier 95) was introduced. It incorporated a layering system, reflecting the latest specifications at the time.

2009-2010
A new multi-terrain camouflage pattern, "MTP," is being urgently introduced for missions in Afghanistan. The replacement of CS95 is beginning.

From 2011
The new uniform system, "PCS (Personal Clothing System)," was officially introduced. Deployment to most units was completed by 2013.

NOTE — About the size
British military sizes are indicated in centimeters as "length/waist/hip". 80/80/96 is approximately equivalent to a 80cm waist, and 80/84/100 is approximately equivalent to a 84cm waist. Since this is a deadstock item, we recommend trying it on in-store.

About dressing
Military pants tend to have a casual image, but these pants, thanks to the waist pleats and tapered silhouette, look surprisingly elegant. Simply pairing them with a plain white T-shirt or cut-and-sew top will highlight the quality of the pants' tailoring.
It pairs well with jackets and shirt jackets. The slanted pocket detail adds just the right amount of accent to a simple upper body.
