A new alpaca wool blend knit sweater has arrived from INTÉRIM.
When I saw this item at an exhibition, I fell in love with the texture and coloring at first sight, and ended up ordering it. Most sweaters of this type are made of 100% wool, but this one is luxuriously blended with alpaca, giving it a wonderful texture.
This sweater was inspired by mid-gauge knitwear made for sports scenes by a long-established British knitwear company that has been in business since the 18th century.

The fabric is made from a blend of fine, smooth alpaca wool, which is mainly grown in the harsh environment of Peru at 3,000 to 5,000 meters above sea level, and fluffy Polowers wool. This mid-gauge knit fabric has a classic, scratchy feel.
