Starting from the fall/winter 2025 season, two new brands will be added to Alzac Kamakura's lineup: ENGINEERED GARMENTS and NEEDLES.
This brand was born as an original brand of NEPENTHES, a select shop that is active not only in Japan but also around the world, and is a brand with many fans around the world.
ARZAK Kamakura has become an authorized dealer and will be selecting these two brands from AW 2025. Today, we would like to introduce the stories and appeal of these two brands.

What is ENGINEERED GARMENTS?
ENGINEERED GARMENTS, based in New York, USA, is a fashion brand launched in 1999. It started as an original brand of NEPENTHES.
The founder and designer is Daiki Suzuki, who established his office in New York in 1997 and won the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Best New Menswear Designer award in 2008, which is given to the most active designer in the United States, and is the first Japanese person to be entered as an official member of the CFDA.
Starting from the Fall/Winter 2025 season, when Arzac Kamakura begins selling the brand, the brand will start under a new structure with Miyamoto Kenta and Odagi Kunimasa as designers.
The brand name stands for well-designed clothing, and the brand reconstructs items from the good old days of America, such as military and traditional styles, using unique materials and patterns.
From planning to production, most of the work is done in New York. Brands that still insist on being made in New York are very rare, and I think this is one of the charms of ENGINEERED GARMENTS.
