Champion's Reverse Weave is a well-known classic among sweatshirt enthusiasts. However, the model currently on sale at ARZACH is slightly different from the one typically seen in Japanese select shops and sporting goods stores.
These are all USA-designed models manufactured for the American domestic market, and are specially made for the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA). Because they are not normally distributed in Japan, opportunities to acquire them are rare. And now, you can purchase them at a 40% discount.

The name comes from a reverse stitching technique developed in 1938 to prevent vertical shrinkage.
The design, which has remained unchanged for over 80 years, is what continues to support the value of this sweatshirt.
— What is reverse weave?
Champion's Reverse Weave is a sweatshirt manufacturing method developed in 1938. While regular sweatshirts tend to shrink in the vertical direction (length direction), Reverse Weave minimizes vertical shrinkage by using a "horizontal rib" structure that uses the vertical fabric horizontally.
Furthermore, it features "gussets" (separate ribbing) sewn onto both sides. These gussets ensure lateral stretch around the torso while preventing the garment from losing its shape. It resists losing its shape even after repeated washing—that's the practical reason why Reverse Weave has been loved for over 80 years.
This USA-designed model uses the same material and stitching specifications as the Reverse Weave sweatshirts distributed in the United States. It has the original thickness and weight, unlike models that have been adjusted for the Japanese market. It's a reliable piece that you can wear every day from autumn through winter.
