In 1990s America, companies, museums, and bands alike used T-shirts as a medium for cultural transmission. ANVIL, TULTEX, Fruit of the Loom—the prints etched onto these classic T-shirt bodies were not just vintage clothing, but proof that that era actually existed.
The four shirts that arrived this time are completely different in genre and origin. An LA art museum, a Seattle IT company, a rock giant's solo tour, and an unknown Chicago band. This is an official tour T-shirt from Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters' 1999-2000 US tour "In The Flesh," his first US tour in 12 years. It features a 1999 copyright and double-sided printing. The solo tour, which included songs such as "The Wall" and "Dark Side of the Moon," generated a lot of buzz at the time. It has a TULTEX body with double stitching and is made in Jamaica. This is a 1991 tour T-shirt from The Bad Examples, a punk/pop-rock band based in Chicago. It features a 1991 copyright and double-sided printing. Wearing a vintage T-shirt
