GUARDIAN is a reinterpretation of the French Arnis masterpiece, Forestière, in the style of an auberge.
This piece is inspired by a mix of hunting jacket details and vintage covert cloth.
Although the ARNYS brand is no longer sold, it was once known as the Hermes of the Right Bank and the Arnis of the Left Bank, and was a leading maison brand on the left bank of the Seine. The Forestière hunting jacket was commissioned by the renowned French architect Le Corbusier in 1947.

While taking advantage of Forestiere's details such as the collar, the exquisite length, and the positioning of the pockets, this item has been reconstructed using the original, roomy pattern to make it easier to wear.

It has a no-collar design, which is rare for an outerwear piece, and the balance of the buttons gives it a European feel.
Cowhide leather on the back of the collar.
Leather is also used on the cuffs and hand warmer pockets.
Leather patches on the elbows and other leather accents add a nice touch.
The fabric is an original Auberge design, inspired by the covert cloth found in 19th-century hunting jackets. The warp is made of ultra-fine Super 140's worsted wool, and the weft is made of hemp. This fabric combines a classic feel with toughness.
