TASSEL MOCCASIN is a super classic shoe created by Alden.

It all started when Paul Lukas, a Hungarian actor who was active in Hollywood in the 1940s, requested shoes with tassels from two shoe stores. Unsatisfied with the comfort of the shoes, I ordered them again from shoe stores in New York and California. Coincidentally, the two shoe stores in the east and west requested production from Alden.

In response to this request, Alden devised a shoe with an original design, and the first tassel moccasin was completed in 1948. By the 1950s, the quality of the tassel moccasin had improved in all aspects, and over several years it was introduced to traditional clothing stores across the United States and became a representative model of leather shoes.

The upper is calf leather. The color is burgundy. It is an excellent item that can be worn both casually and formally.

The sole is a single leather sole. The wooden pattern uses Aberdeen last, which is said to be ALDEN's oldest material.
