EUGENE allows you to experience the French work style that Auberge specializes in. This piece is based on a French sack coat from the late 19th century.
While retaining the feel of a classic sack coat, with its small collar, narrow V-zone, and front details that are gently rounded towards the hem, Auberge has adopted a loose pattern that is appropriate for the times, resulting in a finish that is typical of Auberge.

AUBERGE's original ultra-high density corduroy made from 100% Supima cotton.
Supima cotton has a longer growing period than regular cotton, which results in fine, long, and strong fibers. Because it takes so long to grow, it is also at risk of disasters and other problems, and in some cases it is destroyed before it can be harvested, which is why it is also known as a rare extra-long staple cotton. The number of constituent threads needed to make one thread is 1.5 times that of Supima, which shows how fine the fibers are. Fabrics woven using 100% Supima cotton have an excellent feel and texture.
The finished fabric is then dyed in a special way by Towa, a master of washing and processing in Okayama. In order to create the faded look and worn-in feel that is characteristic of French vintage, the dye is not applied all the way to the core of the thread like in denim, and the fabric is processed to create a used look without damaging it, resulting in an atmospheric finish.
