AUBERGE has released a new pullover shirt, PROUST.
This piece is reminiscent of a bijouterie or smock shirt, which was said to have been worn by French shepherds in the 19th century, and is made from Auberge's loose pattern and original fabric.

This piece is reminiscent of a bijouterie or smock shirt, which was said to have been worn by French shepherds in the 19th century, and is made from Auberge's loose pattern and original fabric.

The generous width of the body and arms, as well as the gathers and puffy sleeves, give the dress a silhouette that exudes an old-fashioned European feel.
The fabric is Auberge's original London stripe fabric.
The warp threads are 140/2 + 120/2 cotton, and the weft thread is 140/2 cotton. The warp threads are 140/2 and 120/2, and the difference in count creates a striped fabric. This difference in count creates a tension difference in the warp threads during weaving, resulting in a textured finish with a soccer-like texture.
By skipping the usual mercerizing and singeing treatments and going through only a strong washing process, the original texture of the yarn is brought out and the physical properties are stabilized. The texture of the warp threads is made less noticeable when pressed, giving it an elegant look, while when left unwashed the texture is emphasized for a casual look, allowing you to enjoy two different textures.
The color here is L.Beige x Navy Stripe.
Instead of the standard white background used for London stripes, a dull light beige is used, creating a chic and elegant look.
