The HI-LOFT WATER PROOF INSULATED HOODED JACKET from the Japanese brand INTÉRIM, which Arzac Kamakura began carrying in 2024, has arrived.

This was the first jacket I tried on at the exhibition and even had a personal order placed. It is a high-spec jacket made with the latest Japanese technology and high-loft Thinsulate, making it a problem-solving jacket even for professional use.

The design source is the classic outerwear of Wild Things, an outdoor brand from New Hampshire, USA. Originally, it was designed for use in cold climates for active activities such as alpine climbing, so its specifications are guaranteed. Since production has now moved to Asia, Interim has reconstructed it in Japan using the latest Japanese fabrics.

The details are authentic, with waterproof zippers and powder guards, but are finished with Interim's unique soft pattern.

The outer material is made of Dermizax®, developed by Toray Industries, a Japanese company. Dermizax is a laminated material that achieves the highest level of waterproofness, breathability, and low condensation by adopting a high-performance membrane. The flexible fabric, which also has elasticity, is also used in winter sports such as snow mountain climbing.

The lining is made of ultra-lightweight 20 denier ultra-fine yarn. It reduces static electricity and has excellent water repellency. It is smooth and comfortable to wear.

The padding is made of high-loft THINSULATE™, an extremely thick material from 3M of the United States. You can see the rounded high-loft feel when you look at it from the side. This jacket is excellent at keeping out the cold, as it keeps the heat from escaping from the body.
