The first delivery of ENGINEERED GARMENTS' Fall/Winter 2026 collection. Every time, I think, "Is this how the season begins again?" The Loiter Jacket, in dark navy wool uniform serge.
There's a reason why the Reuter jacket remains a timeless classic. It's not as formal as a tailored jacket, nor as casual as everyday wear. Surprisingly, there are few garments in the world that fill that gap perfectly.
"LOITER" means "to wander around." This jacket is perfect for adults—a casual, relaxed piece that you can throw on without feeling self-conscious.

This season's Reuter jacket is made from "Wool Uniform Serge." Serge refers to a twill-woven wool fabric. It's a tough and classic material that has long been used in situations where durability is required, such as military and uniform applications.

ENGINEERED GARMENTS is a fashion brand founded in New York in 1999. It started as an original brand of the Japanese select shop NEPENTHES, and its founding designer, Daiki Suzuki, won the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Best New Menswear Designer Award, becoming the first Japanese person to become an official member of the CFDA.
Based on American workwear, military, and outdoor wear, the brand's designs, which blend functional details with a classic aesthetic, are supported by fashion enthusiasts worldwide. From the Autumn/Winter 2025 season, the brand will transition to a new management structure led by Kenta Miyamoto and Kunimasa Odagi.
