Aloha Blossom is an aloha shirt brand run by Kiyosaku Uehara, an Okinawan artist who is well known for his work with Monpati. In Okinawa, aloha shirts are sometimes worn on special occasions such as weddings. Wanting to wear something well-made, he has teamed up with designer Tomotaka Onozaki to create the finest aloha shirts that lift your spirits.

At first glance, it looks more like a folk art piece than an aloha shirt, which is likely due to the original textiles used in the stylized pattern, featuring motifs of the boats, oars, and waves used in Okinawa's Hari rowing races.
It is said that Hari was introduced from China about 600 years ago, and involves competing in dragon boat rowing to pray for safe voyages and bountiful catches.
