The first delivery of NEEDLES' Fall/Winter 2026 collection has arrived. From the HD PANT series, a long-loved icon of the brand, this season we have the HD PANT FATIGUE in olive, based on fatigue pants.
There's a reason why certain items are considered classics. I think the reason these pants make me want them again every time they arrive each season is because of their unique silhouette and the way the material develops a richer character with each wear.
The front end bulges out significantly forward.

— What is HD PANT? A unique silhouette created by darts.
The HD PANT is a signature series from NEEDLES. "HD" stands for "Hiza Deru" (meaning "knees sticking out"), and as the name suggests, the unique silhouette created by the darts applied to the waist and hem, which cause the front to bulge significantly, is the series' greatest icon.
The fatigue version is based on the design of classic US military fatigue pants. It features a clean look without cargo pockets, a zipper fly, a drawstring waist, and a button adjuster at the back. While incorporating the functional details of military wear, the silhouette remains distinctly NEEDLE's.

— About the material: Ripstop back satin
The material is 100% cotton ripstop back satin. While it has a tough, military-like look, the slightly understated sheen softens the ruggedness of fatigue pants just right.
Ripstop fabric is characterized by its high resistance to tearing, thanks to the reinforcing threads woven into a grid pattern. It's durable enough for everyday wear, yet its texture improves with age, allowing you to enjoy its unique aging process. It's a material you can enjoy for a long time, regardless of the season.

NEEDLES is a Japanese brand that started in 1995. The designer is Keizo Shimizu. Like ENGINEERED GARMENTS, it has been active for 30 years as an original brand of NEPENTHES.
The brand name is a portmanteau of "Needle," an essential tool in clothing making, and "Need-less," meaning nothing more than what is necessary. The collection features mainly Japanese-made items and is characterized by a sophisticated lineup where basic and avant-garde elements coexist perfectly. It is a brand that deeply fits into the wardrobe of those who "want something different from others, but also want high-quality items that can be cherished for a long time."
