The M47 pants are famous for their high quality sewing and finish, and were used by Margiela in his collections. The M64 was adopted by the French Air Force in 1964, and is a successor to the M47, with updated materials and patterns.
The deep rise and wide thigh width remain unchanged, but the pants taper nicely towards the hem, giving them a beautiful silhouette that is neater and more comfortable to wear than the M47.

The fabric used is a back satin material called Satin300. It has an exquisite luster and a soft texture that has not been seen in past French military items, and it is a material that can be worn toughly because it is moderately thick.

We have also received two models made of cotton twill, a rare material among M64s, purchased from France. The twill material is thicker and tougher than Satin 300, and has a similar texture to the M47 Air Force model, with a more matte finish that makes it easy to match with other items.
