This time, we would like to introduce the Scandinavian vintage Gustavsberg and Arabian tableware available at A'r139 Kamakura.
GUSTAVSBERG
Gustavsberg is a ceramics manufacturer founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 1825.
Many of Mid Century's iconic tableware have been created by renowned designers such as artist Wilhelm Koge, Stig Lindberg and Lisa Larson.
While many kilns have moved their production bases overseas to reduce production costs, Gustavsberg still has a workshop in Sweden and continues to make tableware using the same manufacturing method as at that time.
Therefore, Gustavsberg's works are finished in warm products with different expressions, unlike those that are mass-produced.

Arabia (ARABIA) is a ceramics manufacturer founded in 1873 in the Arabian district on the outskirts of Helsinki, Finland, under the umbrella of Swedish ceramics manufacturer Rorstrand.
