AUBERGE is a brand that was launched in 2018. The brand name comes from the idea of an inn that originated in France around the 18th century, where you can stay overnight while enjoying fine cuisine.
After graduating from a technical school, designer Kobayashi Manabu travelled to France to study, where he spent his time in Paris and Nice trying on vintage clothes, antiques and the latest fashions. He then gained experience working for a denim manufacturer before going independent.
The items we offer are based on vintage items from the 1930s and 1940s, with all materials and sewing done in Japan to the highest standards.
